At St James' Church, Thornton
To mark the 200th anniversary of Charlotte Brontë's birth, the Brontë Society is hosting a special wreath-laying ceremony at St James' Church in Thornton, close to the remnants of the Brontë Bell Chapel where Charlotte was baptised in 1816. All welcome.
