Discover Charlotte Brontë's London
Brontë Society members from all over the country are invited to join the London & South East group for their spring walk.
The walk will follow in Charlotte's footsteps when, with her sister Anne, she walked from St Paul's Cathedral to the publishing house of George Smith in Cornhill. The walk finishes on the site of London Bridge Wharf where, in her book
Villette, Charlotte described boarding the packet steamer for Ostend.
The walk will last approximately 2 1/2 hours. Meet at the Monument in London (nearest tube 'Monument' on Circle and District line).
Brontë Society membership is open to all. Join online today.
