Nicole Joseph is a Bradford-based writer and theatre-maker, whose practice is based in a holistic and spiritual human-centred, community-care focussed way. 
 
She was recently commissioned by Sheffield Theatres to write their Young Company production titled Urgent! A Timely Play and is under commission with the Brontë Society. She was awarded an Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant to take her playwriting to the next level through 2023-24. 
 
As a theatre-maker, she was recently a creative associate for the Royal Shakespeare company on their First Encounters tour for young audiences and directed for Graeae Theatre’s Crips With Chips new writing showcases at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick and Liverpool Everyman Theatre and Playhouse.
