A workshop for little readers who might dream of writing their own books. 
 
Briony May Smith and Sara O'Leary, illustrator and writer respectively of The Little Books of the Little Brontës, will talk about how the Brontës made miniature books as children, give a reading and drawing demonstration, discuss the creation of their book, and provide materials and guidance for children to create their own little books – just like the Brontës!

Tickets: £7 (one ticket per child and one free accompanying adult)

Sara O'Leary was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and now lives in a little village by the sea on the east coast of Canada. Her books for children include A Family is a Family is a Family, This is Sadie, and When You Were Small
 
Briony May Smith is the author-illustrator of The Mermaid Moon, A Practical Present for Philippa Pheasant, and Margaret’s Unicorn, and the illustrator of many other picture books for children. She lives in a little cottage in Devon, and takes a lot of inspiration from her rural surroundings.
