An evening talk at The Brontë Parsonage Museum.
In autumn 2023, conservators David Everingham and Alison Aynesworth worked to restore 12 oil-painted panels on the Apostles Cupboard, on display at the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
In this Parsonage Unwrapped, we’ll be joined by David to take a closer look at the Apostles Cupboard. David will explore the conservation process, divulging some of the interesting discoveries made along the way. By examining the cupboard first-hand, we'll delve into the interesting world of conservation.
This event is also part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, looking at the cupboard’s feature in 'Jane Eyre' and the influence of Charlotte’s novel over time.
