Exclusive evening event with Ann Dinsdale
A selection of Brontë material from the Honresfield Library was included in a sale at Hodgson’s in 1933. Other items had been given by William Law to his nurse, eventually turning up in sales held at Sotheby’s.
This session focuses on Brontë material which had already returned from Honresfield to Haworth before the Friends of the National Libraries stepped in to save the Library for the nation.
