The Museum
The Home of the Brontës
In 1928, the Brontë Society bought Haworth Parsonage – the former home of Yorkshire’s famous literary family – to display and look after our extensive collection of Brontë items.
Today, the Parsonage remains our greatest asset in the collection, and we welcome visitors from all around the world to step inside its doors.
Our museum collection is made up of original Brontë items – from writing desks and letters, to clothes, furniture, and more. You can enjoy our collection as you walk around the Brontë Parsonage Museum as a visitor – or arrange a research trip to see a specific item.
