Important information for visitors

COVID-19: Important information for our visitors.

Although it is no longer a legal requirement to self-isolate, if you, or any member of your household, has experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the 10 days preceding your visit, we politely ask that you do not come to the Museum.

Tickets
We recommend pre-booking your ticket. The Brontë Parsonage Museum is a historic building and our collections are displayed in a number of small household rooms.  For the safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and visitors, we will continue to monitor visitor numbers in order to avoid over-crowding, and so at busy times visitors may need to queue for a short while.

Face coverings and hand sanitiser
Whilst face masks are no longer mandatory, our staff and volunteers may continue to wear face coverings. There will be hand sanitiser at the entrance to the Museum and shop for visitors to use.

Social distancing
Please maintain a respectful distance (1m+) from our staff and volunteers and any visitors who are not part of your household.

Cleaning
Surfaces will be cleaned at regular intervals during the day.
Contactless payments are preferred, but we will accept cash where this is not possible.

Personal belongings and luggage
We ask that visitors keep their personal belongings to a minimum as we are not able to store any bags or luggage.

Toilets
Please note that the Brontë Parsonage Museum does not have any public toilets. The public toilets adjacent to the Museum are currently closed for essential maintenance but we have situated temporary facilities in the Museum carpark. There are also public toilets near the bottom of Main Street, in Haworth Central Park and many of the food and drink businesses on Main Street have facilities which can be used by their customers.

We would like to thank all our visitors for their support, understanding and cooperation and look forward to giving you a warm, but safe welcome to the Museum.  To continue with your booking, please click here
